Back End Web Developer position
Kimatica LTD, (https://www.kimatica.com/) a software company that has active participation in customer engagement in the energy and mobile sectors is looking for an junior/intermediate level web developer to assist on the optimization of existing Web/Mobile products and the development of new products. The job opportunity has a potential time horizon larger than 3 years. The candidate will mainly work remotely from home and should be able to attend meetings in EU.
The individual should consistently support the mission and values of the company by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Focus on back end development. Front end skills are more than welcome.
2. Modify existing back end system of two energy related Web and Mobile applications
3. Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practice
4. Work remotely with team of developers and product owners
5. Travel to participate in conferences in EU
GENERAL SUMMARY:
EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor Degree preferably in computer science, engineering, physics/mathematics or other related disciplines
QUALIFICATIONS:
General Skills: Problem solver that can make the extra step. Demonstrated excellent relationship skills, collaboration, positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
Machine Skills: Junior or Intermediate level in one of the following technologies in: Node JS, or Mongoose and mongoDB. Skills in Express/feathersjs, and/or angular JS are more than welcome.
Software Proficiency: Photoshop/Illustrator (opt), internet and email savvy.
Language Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English, including excellent listening skills.
