Wednesday, 26th February 2014, in the University Auditorium from 18.00 – 20.00

Attendance is free to students, young ICT professionals, the general public and all those who wish to become familiar with emerging trends in Big Data Analysis.

Would you like to find out more about career prospects, research skills and business opportunities related to the emerging science of Big Data Analysis? A distinguished Professor at École Polytechnique, France, Head of the DB-NET research group on Data & Web Mining, and two top industry executives from global leaders in software and databases will present their views and outline future trends on research, innovation and challenges in Big Data. Examples will cover how prominent research groups and global ICT corporations such as Microsoft and Oracle have contributed towards the above directions.

Transfer to IHU: There will be a free return bus service from downtown Thessaloniki (in front of the University of Macedonia on Egnatia Street) to the International Hellenic University. Time of departure is 17.15 (please arrive before that - priority will be given on a first come first served basis).
