The Informatics and Telematics Institute (ITI) of the Centre of Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) invites applications for a technical project management position.

The position is within the FP7 funded project Dem@Care that addresses the remote monitoring and management of people with dementia through the use of multiple sensors and intelligent multi-parametric behaviour interpretation. The end goal is to enable people with dementia to maintain independence and inclusion in society, while actively improving their quality of life and the effectiveness of the clinical and informal care they receive, through in a meaningful and sustainable manner.

The ideal candidate should have:
* PhD in Computer Science or alternatively a Master Degree plus 2 at least years of relevant research experience.
* Solid knowledge in ambient intelligence and/or pervasive computing technologies.
* Previous experience with EU style projects (IP, NoE, STREP).
* Excellent leadership & communication skills.
* Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Experience in remote healthcare or ambient/assisted living applications, involving in particular pilots set up and assessment will be considered a plus.
The expected starting date is in December 2011. Competitive salary will be offered based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant. The contract will be initially for 1 year, with a possibility of extension for 3 more years.
