The key responsibilities of Senior Developers:
Back-End development
Design systems architecture
Analyse, modify and maintain existing solutions
Database Management
Search Engine Optimisation
Project and team management skills, with organised workflow
Communicate with customers to translate their needs into a workable design
Create timelines, report to management, and manage the time/resources of the development team
The key responsibilities of Junior Developers:
Back-End and/or Front-end development
Developing/Designing custom website and/or native mobile apps
Maintaining existing websites and web applications
Front-End developers will be expected to know and keep up with design trends and best-practices, as commonly accepted within the industry
Back-End developers will be expected to keep up with the latest web technologies and languages
Candidate qualifications/profile:
Required:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
Thorough understanding of the full web/mobile development life cycle
Experience in developing web applications (at least 3 years), or an extensive portfolio of personal projects
Experience in SQL, and all common web technologies
For Front-End developers only: knowledge of User Interface and Experience (UIX) know-how and best practices
Preferred:
Fluency in English
Passport & willingness to travel when necessary
